Come out and paint a canvas of what the Meaford Public Library means to you at a creative painting session on June 23. Entitled The Art of Learning, this family-friendly event will be held at 11 Sykes Street North - the future home of the Library.
On Saturday, June 23 from 10 am to 1 pm, everyone is invited to drop in, pick up some paint, and create your own image. We will have games, food and tons of fun for people of all ages: children, teens, families, seniors – everyone is welcome! Each canvas costs $10. This event is hosted by the Meaford Public Library Fundraising Committee and proceeds will go to the new building.
Mayor Barb Clumpus and members of the Meaford Creative Arts Association will be on hand, as well as other artists and experts to help with questions or inspiration. So tap into your artistic side and help raise money for the new Meaford Public Library at the same time!
Library supporters are encouraged to donate to the Library Campaign directly as well. Cheques made out to the Friends of the Meaford Library can be dropped off at the library, or you can donate online at: www.meaford.ca/newlibrary.
