SweetWater Access Music FairPeople in the Grey and Bruce for the first time will be able to see all things music in one location during the Access Music Fair on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harmony Centre in Owen Sound. This “music trade show” is being organized by the SweetWater Music Festival as part of its ongoing Access Music initiative. The goal is for people to make connections with music organizations and more in our local area.

“This Music Fair is for people looking for music teachers, people looking for music groups to join, people looking for music events to attend, and people looking for instruments to play,“ explains Paul Eichhorn, Festival Manager, SweetWater Music Festival. “We saw a need for a gathering that brings together all of these music groups in one place. One-stop shopping for all your music needs.”

The event, free admission to all, has 31 exhibitors including community choirs, instrument makers, music presenters, music educators, and performance groups. OShare will also be on hand to selling light food and beverages. Proceeds will support the organization’s important work in the community.

Along with the exhibits, there will be a demonstration studio space to hear instruments and Music Info Hub with information about other music organizations and events from throughout Grey and Bruce.

The Access Music Fair is possible in part thanks to the support of the Community Foundation Grey Bruce and Long & McQuade (Event Partner).
