There are few truly wild places left in the world. The middle of the North Atlantic is one of them. Looking for a way to test herself and make sense of her life, local author Linda Kenyon sold everything and took off on a 26-day sailing adventure in a small boat with her new partner. The sometimes harrowing epic journey is chronicled in her book Sea Over Bow: A North Atlantic Crossing. Linda will give a book talk and signing at The Ginger Press at 7:00 on Thursday June 13.
Linda now spends six months each year in Grey County and six months sailing in the Caribbean. She is an award-winning writer who has had many short stories published in Canadian literary journals as well as the author of several books.
Everyone is welcome to attend this event; autographed copies of Sea Over Bow ($19.95) can be reserved at (519) 376-4233.
