On Saturday, October 26, explore funeral traditions and rituals from local history on this unique walking tour through Moreston Heritage Village. Participate in a toast (and a prank) during a lively 1850s Irish wake. Formally prepare for the serious business of death with a Victorian family in the 1880s. Learn about the evolution of mourning through the Great War and the early 20th century. Hear tales of Grey County ghost stories, and keep watch for loose spirits in the village!
Tarot card readings will be available courtesy of Kaitlyn O'Neill, and the Great Canadian BBQ will be here all day with hot beverages and snacks to purchase.
