Mossy Gatherings Music and Education Series is hosting Don Campbell. Don’s passion for performing is undeniable and his ability to engage a crowd is irresistible! Join Don this Friday, November 15th. Doors open at 7:30 PM and the concert starts at 8:00 PM at St. George’s Hall 1049 4th Ave. East, Owen Sound.
This all ages event will be very enjoyable. This show is raising awareness for the Eating Disorders Foundation of Canada. Don Campbell recognizes through friends, family and fellow performers that the pursuit of dancing, modelling, film, music and even sports interests can contribute to the formation of body image disturbances that are not well understood, but are at the root of eating disorders. The head of the Eating Disorders Foundation of Canada, Dr. Campbell, will be present at the show and will say a few words about the foundation. Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at the door.
With his extensive Jazz background and training, Don has incorporated the likes of John Scofield and Wes Montgomery into his new creative rock style that also capitalizes on the rock and blues influences of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton.
Don's singer/songwriter style has a Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson feel and much like Bob Dylan and Bob Marley, he has a passion for uplifting and meaningful lyrics.Check out his website: http://www.doncampbellmusic.ca/
