FiddlefernFBProfileWhat better way to spend a cold mid-winter evening than contra dancing? Join Mad Robin, our lively local musicians, and caller Frank Francalanza for a great night out on Saturday, February 1st.

Dancing in synchrony with others has proven to have a powerful feel-good effect on the brain. It's like kale for the brain! Come join us - be entertained and get lots of exercise - $15 for adults, $10 for students or unwaged. Kids 16 and under get in free.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Contra basics lesson at 7:00 (recommended for beginners). Dancing from 7:30 until 10:30 at St. George's Church Hall, 1049 4th Avenue East, Owen Sound.

No partner required - friends and family welcome! Wear soft-soled shoes and light, comfortable clothing. Please avoid using fragrances - some dancers are sensitive. Dress in layers and remember your water bottle!
