climate emergency musical

The Emergency Climate Musical is coming to Owen Sound.

James Gordon's new environmental one-person show features 20 songs, projected images, videos, a creepy puppet and lots of crowd participation!

Emergency Climate Musical is a ninety-minute theatrical investigation of what is certainly THE issue in these uncertain times. Filled with compelling songs, videos, images, stories, rants, laughter, tears, audience participation, a creepy puppet and some concrete ways to face this crisis, James promises to entertain, inform, and leave you with homework.
Follow along as he outlines his premise that we need a total political, societal and economic make-over to face the incredible challenge ahead.
This time he’s got the credentials for the job: James moonlights as a Guelph City Councillor, where he’s introduced climate change motions, and he’s a member of the National Climate Leadership Caucus.

This event is in fundraising partnership with Climate Action Team BGOS & Grey Bruce Sustainability Network.

Mark your calendar, the show, is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Harmony Centre in Owen Sound. Doors open at 7:00, with the show starting at 7:30.

Tickets are $20 in advance, available at The Bleeding Carrot, Frog Ponds Cafe, or on Eventbrite, or $25 at the door, with a pay-what-you-can option available for the underemployed.

50% of net proceeds are going to Climate Action Team BGOS & Grey Bruce Sustainability Network.
