Starting Tuesday, May 12th Meaford Hall presents Live it Live! Throughout our closure, we will be presenting two live concerts a week on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7:30 PM, showcasing an artist, duo, or small group performing via Facebook Live Sponsored by the Meaford Culture Foundation and RT07.
Kicking off the series Tuesday, May 12th is Madison Galloway, an emerging voice in Canadian roots music hailing from small town Fergus, Ontario. Madison blends influences from folk, rock and blues, reaching back to pay homage to the great artists of the past while forging a sound all her own! Performing at prominent festivals including Mariposa Folk Festival, Riverfest Elora, and RBC Bluesfest and sharing the stage with renowned artists such as 54-40, Ron Hawkins and Tyler Shaw, she's making a name for herself as a must-see act!
Next up is Shane Cloutier on Thursday, May 14th! Shane’s strong emotional voice mixed with his work as a guitarist and heavy metal influences creates an uncommon sound that is unlike any other indie folk musician. Cloutier is a solo act originally from Orillia, ON who has been performing and writing music for years. He has released two indie folk acoustic albums and is currently working on a special project with a full band supporting him.
