Registration for next Monday's Open House and Question & Answer sessions on the old Owen Sound jail properties has been even more limited than the 50 person Public Health cap on the indoor gathering.
Only a few people had registered for the second session at 5:30 pm when registration closed yesterday, and when contacted they said they are able to attend the 3:00pm session. The 5:30pm session has been cancelled.
If someone would like to attend the 3:00pm session, they can still register until capacity is reached. by emailing [email protected] before end of day tomorrow.
The Open House was one part of a larger public consultation. All the reports, information about the selective removals options relating to the jail property, videos and survey are available on the City's website.
The demolition of the Courthouse is not being considered through this process.
