Please be advised that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound intends to hold a Public Meeting and pass a by-law to adopt the 2021Budget.

The details of the meeting are as follows:

Public Comments: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must pre-register to participate in the Public Meeting. Outlined below are options and deadlines for participation in the public meeting. Oral comments: If you wish to appear electronically to speak to this matter, you must contact the City Clerk by Monday, January 18, 2021at 12:00 p.m. Registration for electronic participation is to be completed by contacting the City Clerk by phone at 519-376-4440 ext. 1247 or by email at [email protected]. Written comments: If you wish to present written comments to Council on this matter, you must send your comments to the City Clerk by Monday, January 18, 202 0at 12:00 p.m. Comments may be emailed or mailed as outlined below.

By-law:The by-law to pass the 2021budget will be considered at the Regular Council meeting scheduled for February 8, 2021.The Budget is being adopted in accordance with section 290 of the Municipal Act, 2001 and notice is being provided in accordance with City By-law No. 2018-022. If the matter is postponed or considered at a subsequent Council Meeting, no additional notice will be provided other than the information on the subsequent Council agenda.
