The City of Owen Sound is asking residents and businesses to run water ONLY if they are connected to a neighbour via a temporary hose, or temporary watermain until Monday, April 27, 2015.

The forecast over the next few days and over the weekend shows negative temperatures overnight, which could potentially freeze hoses unless your water is running steadily through them.

Please begin running water from one tap only, about the size of a pencil, ½ inch diameter (about 1 cup (250 ml) of water in 10 seconds).

Again, this only applies to residents and businesses who are on a temporary hose or watermain.
