Owen Sound's Canada Day celebration goes global when the double JUNO Nominee the Sultans of String and Chris McKhool's award-winning kids' shows take the stage in the amphitheatre. The event will also include new inflatable attractions, Owen Sound's Youth Have Talent, and much more. Enjoy a fun-filled family day at Kelso Beach Park for a suggested entry donation of only two dollars per person.
Kelso Beach Park opens at noon on Wednesday July 1st with many activities for kids including Chris McKhool's Earth, Seas and Air and award-winning FiddleFire! shows. The McDonald's Airbounce Alley and the Good Cheer Splash Pad will keep it lively for kids. Families can also participate in Owen Sound's Youth Have Talent presented by RBC, watch Satellites Gymnastics demonstrations, and even participate in movement and dance classes for the family including Yoga, Zumba, Line Dancing, and International Folk Dancing.
The evening brings world-class entertainment to the Kelso amphitheatre, including performances by, the Owen Sound City Band, Georgian Bay Caledonia Pipe Band, country and bluegrass duo Tim & Doug, the ever-popular Our Shotgun Wedding. The awesome wizardry of the Sultans of String wraps up the musical evening just before a spectacular fireworks display over Owen Sound Bay by PyroWorld.
Admission is by donation. Most activities are included with admission.
