3rd Avenue West will be closed from 9th Street West to 10th Street West for the Billy Bishop HeritageFest.

3rd Annual Pride Parade

12:00 noon – 3:30 p.m.

2nd Avenue East will be closed from 8th Street East to 10th Street East.

1st Avenue West will be closed from 8th Street West to 10th Street West.

8th Street and 9th Street will remain open but expect delays as Police Services will be directing traffic and the parade to allow safe passage through the intersections.

12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

7th Street/1st Ave East will be closed from west of 2nd Avenue East to 8th Street East.

The Eastbound curb lane on 10th Street from 1st Avenue West to 2nd Avenue East will be closed.

Parking

Motorists visiting the River District or participating in the Pride parade are encouraged to park in Parking Lot #5 located in the 800 Block of 3rd Avenue East, and Parking Lot #4 located in the 900 Block of 3rd Avenue East.

Transit

The Brooke Transit route will be re-routed at 1st Avenue West from 8th Street to 10th Street West from 11:30 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m. Bus stops along 8th Street between 2nd Avenue West and 2nd Avenue East will not be available from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
