The City of Owen Sound's Winter Guide for 2015-2016 has hit the streets, highlighting the best of the season's offerings.
The guide includes a profile of our vibrant downtown, plus information about the Festival of Northern Lights, local music, outdoor activities, museums and galleries, Attack hockey, public skating, and a full list of events to enjoy in the Scenic City from now until Spring.
This is the sixth annual Winter Guide for Owen Sound, a four-season destination and cultural hub of Grey County. Special events for this winter include the award-winning Festival of Northern Lights, Festival in the Park, Festive First Friday in downtown Owen Sound, Moreston by Candlelight, Frisky First Friday, the Grey-Bruce Chinese New Year celebrations andthe Lupercalia Music Festival.
The guide was produced by the City's Economic Development and Tourism division and will be distributed to visitor centres throughout the region. Additional copies may be found in tourism kiosks at the Bayshore Community Centre, the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre, City Hall, the Harrison Park Inn, Georgian College and the Heritage Place Shopping Centre.
More than 45,000 copies are also being distributed to residents through area newspapers this week. The Winter Guide can be found online.
