The City's Canada 150/Owen Sound 160 Celebrations Ad Hoc Committee is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, December 15 at 5:30 p.m., in City Hall Council Chambers.

The meeting will provide information on how the City and potential partners can plan, promote and deliver a series of community events in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Canada and Owen Sound's 160th Anniversary in 2017. There are also several other significant anniversaries in 2017.

Under the Federal Canada 150 Fund, municipalities are eligible to apply for celebrations that help foster a sense of pride and attachment to Canada. The City will make an application early in 2016.
