I hope you are all well in these strange times.
Here on the farm, we are focused on growing! The greenhouse is filling up and the fields are being prepared for spring planting. We are thankful to have such practical and positive work to do.
The early bird special ($25 credit toward purchasing extras) for the CSA expires tomorrow, March 31st. Sign up here!
We have 4 subsidized shares available for people that need assistance accessing healthy, fresh produce. Send me a short that describes why you would like a share and what financial obstacle you are facing. You don't have to provide detailed financial information!
The garden workshops I had planned for this growing season have moved online! On Saturday, I had a test run with a friendly group of gardeners and it worked. So, if you are planning a garden this summer and would like some support to make it fun and successful, check out the workshop offerings!
I'll be offering two different workshops weekly in April:
1) Planning your garden
2) Soil, Compost and Starting Seeds.
Workshops are on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 2 to 4 pm. So far, I'm doing registrations via email. If that gets overwhelming, I'll set something else up! After you register, I'll send you information on how to join the meeting online. A good internet connection is needed. Workshops are $35 each and limited to 15 participants to ensure that we can have a conversation and I can answer your questions. I'll make 2 pay-what-you-can sessions available each week.
