Meghan Robertson filed her nomination papers today to run for council in the City of Owen Sound.

Meghan is a woman in trades and small business owner, operating her drywall company out of the River District. Meghan was raised in Owen Sound and says she loves living in the city and is raising her two boys here. "I love everything this city has to offer - from our vibrant downtown core to the parks and waterfront. We live in a beautiful city."

Meghan has gained experience volunteering on the City’s Community Planning and Heritage and the Operations Advisory committees over the past six years.

Meghan says she wants to take the next step to join council to help make good, forward thinking decisions that will benefit the community now and for many years to come. “I believe as a small business owner, I have the experience to help make fiscally responsible and sustainable decisions that will benefit our community. I love this city and I want to ensure it will be great for my kids, for all of us."
