The final Owen Sound Service Review 2016 Council meeting will occur on Tuesday, September 20, at 9:00 AM.
This meeting will allow Council to receive final reports on certain topics they asked staff to explore. Council's decisions are intended to enhance service delivery and potentially produce cost-savings for the community.
Service Review 2016 began in March and involved a complete examination of all City operations. Processes were examined and options were considered. The public was also heavily involved in the process completing 944 surveys and offering 440 comments. Council analyzed these survey results and considered the comments in the course of their final decisions.
Prior to the October 17 Council meeting, a public information session will occur in City Hall chambers to discuss Council's final decisions made at the September 20 meeting.
This has been a very productive process. Please continue to share your ideas by submitting your ideas in the Suggestion Boxes posted around the City.
