With the arrival of spring, there are a few changes around the city. The City of Owen Sound would like to remind residents that the following by-laws take effect on April 1:

 Vehicles can park overnight on City streets April 1 until December 1;
 Vehicles can park overnight for no charge in downtown parking lots April 1
until December 1;
 Off-Road Vehicles (ATVs) are allowed on most City roads, and the Georgian Bay Trail north of 3rd Ave W, April 1 until November 15.

This time of year please also remember:

 Keep pets on a leash and stoop-and-scoop your pet's waste;
 The Property Standards By-law requires properties to be kept in good repair, free of garbage, with regular lawn maintenance.
