There will be no transit service during the Santa Claus Parade and there will be detours for the Festival of Northern Lights opening ceremony.

Transit service will be suspended from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2017 during the Kiwanis Santa Clause Parade. The Brooke and Core Routes will detour around the Festival of Northern Lights opening ceremonies beginning at 2:00 PM.

Buses will not run from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2017 during the Santa Claus Parade. The last bus leaving the terminal at 9:30 AM will be the East Bayshore route which will make a special stop at Heritage Place.

The Brooke and Core bus routes will detour around the Festival of Northern Lights on 8th Street at the bridge and 1st Avenue West from 8th Street West to 9th Street West beginning at 2:00 PM until the end of the day. Both routes will cross the Sydenham River at 9th Street rather than 8th Street.
