Please be advised that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound will hold a Public Meeting to receive input regarding changes to building fees in the City's proposed 2018 Fees and Charges By-law.
Be further advised that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound will hold a Public Meeting to consider the adoption of the 2018 Budget.
Both public meetings will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Bayshore Community Centre, Christie Hare Room, 1900 3rd Avenue East, Owen Sound, ON N4K 2H4.
Oral and written comments on both matters will be considered at the Public Meetings. Written comments will be accepted until Wednesday, January 24, 2018 and may be submitted to Briana Bloomfield, City Clerk at the following:

Written comments will appear on the Council Meeting agenda which will be available for review on January 26, 2018 at owensound.civicweb.net.
The following information respecting building fees will be made available at no cost to any member of the public upon request:
a. an estimate of the costs of administering and enforcing the Act by the City;
b. the amount of proposed fees and proposed changes to existing fees; and
c. the rationale for imposing new fees and changing existing fees.
