City of Owen Sound Council and staff wish to welcome Mr. Dennis Kefalas and his family to Owen Sound. Effective today, June 4th, Mr. Kefalas is the city's new Director of Public Works and Engineering, a vital role within the city's Senior Management team that oversees engineering services, public works, water and wastewater divisions.

Dennis is a Professional Engineer bringing with him 21 years of engineering experience including structural, environmental and civil engineering. Mr. Kefalas spent the last 16 years in municipal government with the City of Yellowknife.

"We are excited to welcome Dennis and his family to the City of Owen Sound," said City Manager Wayne Ritchie. "Dennis will be a valuable member of our Senior Management team and we look forward to relying on his expertise and guidance."
