This Friday, August 3rd, from 6 pm to 9 pm, don't miss The 4th Annual Fifties 1st Friday Shopping Event and Classic Car Show. Fifties' inspired deals and promotions will be offered by participating stores and restaurants throughout downtown Owen Sound and the Classic Car Show will be located along Second Avenue East from 8th Street to 11 Street. Disc jockeys will be spinning tunes from the Fifties all night long and visitors are invited to dress up in their favourite 50's fashions to take part in the fun. Also happening this year, Heartwood Concert Hall will be hosting a "Modern Day Sock Hop" starting at 9 pm. Tickets are just $10.

Own a classic car and want to take part? Please join us. Registration and entry is free plus all participating car owners who register will entered into a draw for Downtown Merchant Gift Certificates. Registration starts at 5 pm and cars are required to be parked by 6 pm. Two registration desks will be set up on Second Avenue East at 9th Street and 10th Street.
