Owen Sound, Ontario – Tuesday, October 14, 2014 - The City of Owen Sound is using vote tabulators to tally the votes of the 2014 Municipal Election.
A vote tabulator is a machine that digitally scans a designated voting space on a ballot to read vote(s), store information and tabulate results. Tallying the election results will be much more efficient with the use of vote tabulators.
Voters are asked to watch their ballot be cast through the vote tabulator. The tabulator will advise of any problems with the ballot. If there is an issue with your ballot you will be provided the opportunity to correct your ballot.
