The Owen Sound Hub would like to say good-bye and thank you to Paulette Peirol, Tourism Marketing Coordinator for the City of Owen Sound. Today is her last day with the City.
Paulette has held the Tourism portfolio in Owen Sound for almost ten years, and helped us invite and and welcome countless visitors to our city, some of whom have made it their home.
Paulette came to Owen Sound with her family in 2006 from the Ottawa area, where she worked for the Ottawa Citizen.
She has taken a position as the Community Development Coordinator for the Municipality of Brockton starting in early October. Brockton Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Sonya Watson, says, "I am excited to work with Paulette to continue our efforts to move Brockton forward with community and business development activities, policy development that supports corporate marketing and communications, as well as business retention and newcomer attraction."
