The City of Owen Sound is pleased to once again offer services at the traditional City Hall location of 808 2nd Avenue East.

As of Tuesday, November 13th at 8:30AM, all services that were available at the temporary location in the Professional Centre have been transferred to the renovated and fully accessible location in the City’s downtown core. City Services will no longer be available at the Professional Centre.

There were several key goals of the renovation project:

- Fully remediated building condition including removal of all mould and asbestos;
- Fully accessible elevator, washrooms, service counters, automated doors and public spaces;
- Water-tight building exterior;
- Complete removal and replacement of all building systems including plumbing, electrical and mechanical, and installation of new energy efficient systems;
- Insulation and new energy efficient windows;
- The new meeting rooms that overlook the City’s downtown;
- Excavated basement to create space for onsite records management.

The Mayor, together with City Council and staff encourage residents to join the Grand Re-opening of City Hall on Saturday, November 24th beginning at 1:00PM.
