The City of Owen Sound is seeking talent to perform at Harbour Nights Summer Concert Series throughout the upcoming summer and is issuing a call for performers.
The City is seeking singers and entertainers to take the stage on the west harbourfront this summer. “We’re hoping to hear from a diverse group of talent and build some exciting shows,” Carly McArthur, Events Facilitator with the City of Owen Sound said. “We had a great response to the call put out last year and are once again looking for those who are interested in performing on Owen Sound’s scenic waterfront.”
Artists and musicians can answer the call for performers by sending an email to [email protected] and should include samples of their work. Successful artists will be contacted in February. Possibilities for performances at other City-run events may also be available.
Harbour Nights is heading into its eighteenth season as a go-to event that continues to entertain thousands of residents and tourists at Owen Sound’s beautiful west waterfront. The outdoor concert series occurs Sundays, beginning at 7:00 PM, from June 23rd to August 11th. All concerts take place at the back of the Visitor Centre (1155 1st Avenue West in Owen Sound), unless inclement weather forces the concert indoors to the nearby Legion Auditorium.
All concerts are free for audience members but donations are greatly appreciated. Business sponsorship packages are still available for Harbour Nights throughout the summer concert series.
