The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library will be closed from Friday, February 15th to Monday, February 18th inclusive to allow for flooring work to be completed on the main level.
The Library is excited about ongoing renovation work to the main level aimed at providing patrons with a more welcoming space. Work began the last week of January with the relocation of main level collections to the lower level Auditorium, allowing for service to be continued during the renovation phases.
New flooring will be installed over the Family Day weekend necessitating a brief closure of the building. The Library will close at 9:00 pm on Thursday, February 14th. Patrons will be able to return items to the outside book drop and can access some Library services online by visiting www.owensound.library.on.ca. Ebooks, eaudiobooks, music, movies and magazines can all be downloaded using hoopla, Overdrive and RBDigital, available through the Library’s website.
The Library will reopen to the public on Tuesday, February 19th at 9:30 am.
We aim to have services returned to the main level and work completed by early March.
