Owen Sound – Building permits issued in October were valued at $1.2 million, according to Owen Sound Chief Building Official Kevin Hicks. The total value of construction to date is higher than in 2013.
The major projects issued permits last month were construction of an addition to École Saint-Dominique Savio, valued at $852,900; and alterations to the remaining building at the former PPG site, valued at $225,000.
