The 2019 Owen Sound budgets will be presented for final approval at the March 4 council meeting.  Full budget details are available here and the public meeting notice is below.  This is your opportunity for comment.

Please be advised that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound intends to hold a Public Meeting and pass a by-law to adopt the 2019 Budget.
The details of the meeting are as follows:

Date: March 4, 2019
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Place: City Hall, Council Chambers
808 2nd Avenue East

Oral and written comments will be considered at the Public Meeting. Written comments will be accepted until Wednesday, February 27, 2019 and may be submitted to Briana Bloomfield, City Clerk at the following locations:

Written comments will appear on the Council Meeting agenda which will be available for review on March 1, 2019 at owensound.civicweb.net. The personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001 and will be used to complete the budget process. The Budget is being adopted in accordance with section 290 of the Municipal Act, 2001 and notice is being provided in accordance with City By-law No. 2018-022. If the matter is postponed or considered at a subsequent Council Meeting, no additional notice will be provided other than the information on the subsequent Council agenda.
