The City of Owen Sound in conjunction with the support of the Ontario Heritage Trust is excited to host the 17th annual Doors Open Owen Sound. The event will take place on Saturday, June 1st with sites open at various times, generally between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. There are 21 sites across the City that are open to the public – free of charge!
The public is encouraged to come and explore our heritage from gardens and gables to museums and mansions; just look for the yellow signs at participating sites! This year, the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre will be the Doors Open Headquarters. They will also be providing guided tours of the caboose and CN Coach 4884 throughout the day.
Share your photos of the event using #DoorsOpenOS on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the chance to win an Owen Sound Experience Package! Don’t have social media? Send your photos to [email protected] with the subject line “#DoorsOpenOS”. For full event and contest details, please visit www.owensoundtourism.ca/doorsopen.
