While there’s many different signposts of the ‘official’ beginning of summer, the City of Owen Sound can always count on the start of TD Harbour Nights Summer Concert Series to mark the occasion.
TD Harbour Nights kicks off this Sunday, June 23rd. Enjoy the sharp and sweet folk band, Onion Honey who will play on the Coca-Cola Stage behind the Owen Sound Visitor Centre, located at 1155 1st Avenue West. The first concert of the season is presented by the Owen Sound Attack. The free concert begins at 7:00 PM and marks the start of the 18th straight season of live musical performances, every Sunday on the west side of the inner harbor.
All concerts begin at 7:00 PM and are rain or shine events. In case of inclement weather, concerts are relocated to the nearby Royal Canadian Legion Auditorium (except June 30th would be relocated to the Bayshore Community Centre). These concerts are free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
Other talented performers you can catch this summer include:
Upside of Maybe - June 30th
Behind Bars, presented by Elston Watt - July 7th
Sammy Duke - July 14th
Higher FunKtion, presented by Belfor Property Restoration - July 21st
