Kids, and kids at heart, are ready to celebrate Halloween in downtown Owen Sound!
This Saturday, October 26th, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, downtown merchants will be in the Halloween spirit with treats and activities. Balloons will be outside of participating merchants, with the presence of a teal balloon marking merchants who are providing “allergy friendly” treats.
There will be entertainment throughout the event including Klash the Klown, Sandcastle Theatre, and the Collingwood Circus Club with stilt walkers and hula-hoopers.

Visitors to the downtown will have an opportunity to win “double their purchase amount” back in DIA Dollars. Simply visit the Tourism booth in front of City Hall, present your receipt of purchase from a DIA Member for that day (minimum $20.00) and be entered into a draw to win! Three prizes will be given away at a maximum of $500.00 per prize.
2nd Avenue East will be closed in the 700, 800 and 900 Block on October 26th beginning at 5:00 AM for safety of the participants. Please avoid any overnight parking in these blocks.
