Owen Sound - The City of Owen Sound Public Works employees continue to plow City streets in an effort to keep all arterial and collector roads clear and passable.

Road conditions along arterial and collector roadways are in fair to poor condition while side streets are considered to be in poor condition. Motorists are encouraged to remain off the roads, drive only if necessary, and if necessary drive with extreme caution.

Sidewalks are snow covered with areas of deep snow. Pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of these conditions while walking.

Owen Sound Transit service has been suspended and will not be in service for the remainder of the day.

Due to the poor visibility, residents are discouraged from parking vehicles within the roadway while undertaking snow clearing within their driveways. This can create a hazard to drivers and hamper the City's snow clearing activities.
