The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library has implemented proactive measures as a precaution to limit the further spread of COVID-19. This includes the cancellation of all library programs and events through to April 5. At present, there is no change to our hours of operation.

We are actively monitoring the situation and taking the following precautions:

· All programs including March break programming have been suspended until at least April 5th. All Library programs and other community programs held at the library are cancelled.

· The toy yard will be out of service at the end of the day, until April 5th.

· Library To Go services have been suspended.

· We have put warning signs, handwashing signs and information sheets about Covid 19 throughout the building.

· Hand sanitizer is available. There is soap and hot water in the washrooms.

· We have implemented enhanced cleaning protocols within the building

· High-touch areas such as door handles and other surfaces are regularly cleaned with disinfectant wipes.

During this time, you may not be visiting the Library as often as you usually do. Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library offers a variety of online resources including eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines and music. Staff are here to help you navigate our online resources.
