The City of Owen Sound is reminding residents to avoid sewer backups and to protect your sewer pipes, please dispose of the following items in the trash, not the toilet:
- Disinfecting wipes
- Baby wipes
- Towelletes
- Paper towels
- Facial tissues
Any wipe that states it is “flushable” is not, and needs to be disposed of in the garbage
