On March 16th and 17th, the City of Owen Sound closed several public facilities as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19, with re-evaluation to take place on Friday, April 3rd.
All facilities that were closed on March 16th and 17th as a precaution will remain closed indefinitely. This includes:
Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre;
Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre;
City Hall.
Additionally, all boat launches within the City are now closed to the public, effective immediately.
This above list is not a comprehensive list of all City facilities that have been closed, only those that were to be evaluated further on April 3rd.
