The City of Owen Sound will be performing pressure washing operations on the sidewalks in the downtown core beginning Sunday, August 9, 2020. This work is anticipated to be completed on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. The work will start at 8:00 PM every evening and continue into the early morning hours of the following day. When the pressure washing is complete for each day, the City’s street sweeper will then clean up all the debris that has been washed into the gutters.

The work will take place along the following streets:

- The south side of 10th Street East between 3rd Avenue East & 2nd Avenue East;
- 2nd Avenue East between 10th Street East & 8th Street East, both sides;
- 8th Street East between the Farmers’ Market & 3rd Avenue East, both sides; and
- 3rd Avenue East between 9th Street East & 8th Street East, both sides.

We ask that residents do not park overnight along the streets where pressure washing operations will take place, and to utilize Municipal Parking Lots #4 and #5 between August 9 and August 12.
