I'm reaching out to express my concern about proposed changes that would reduce the ability of conservation authorities to protect the environment in Ontario.

As we consider the legacy of assets and debts we will leave to future generations it is essential that we count not just dollar amounts but also the environmental resources of the province. Legislation that prioritizes the financial benefits of developers over the ecological integrity of our province gamble away a resource that we cannot get back. It's like pawning a family heirloom for quick cash. When it's gone, it's gone and the monetary exchange is guaranteed to undervalue the actual worth of what we lose..

Please raise your voice to protect the ecological integrity of our province by protecting conservation authorities. They have long track records of effective work.
