Dear Mayor Boddy and Members of Council,

I have a unique opportunity to view the parkette across the street from my condo balcony -  9th St E and 1st Ave E.

The parkette is so often busy with mothers and strollers, single men meeting friends for a coffee, a stopover for teens on bicycles, people having their Tim’s lunch outdoors, and more.

Many of these people have to stand, or if able, sit on the ground.

I would like to suggest that the City add at least two more benches to the parkette, perhaps now, or in time for next spring. I’m sure they would be much appreciated.
