Dear Community Members,

Safe 'n Sound Residence is interested in receiving applications from folks who would like to join our Board of Directors. Safe 'n Sound is a not for profit charitable community - based organization committed to ending Homelessness in Owen Sound-Grey-Bruce.

Our primary objective at Safe 'n Sound is to provide safe emergency shelter for and support to homeless people. We do this by  working in partnership with other community services who share our vision. We also offer public education and advocacy for homelessness prevention initiatives and services.

We would welcome your call to arrange a time to meet with a Board Member to discuss your interest in learning more about what we do and what you would like to do to address homelessness and poverty in our community.

Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Board work, including meetings, readings or committee work can require up to ten hours a month, once you are fully involved.
