This is a letter I sent today to MPP Bill Walker:
Dear Mr. Walker,
I am writing to express my disappointment, and frankly amazement, that our Provincial Government has chosen to reduce resources to education - the future of our life here in Ontario.
As our provincial leaders, you have a duty to provide our children and teens with the building blocks to render them knowledgeable, secure, proud, creative adults.
The cuts you have supported Mr. Walker, will result in weaker, less creative, less knowledgeable people. Sadly, I believe you have been swayed by our Premier, who appears to value cheap, more accessible beer over education. Is this really your position as well?
What made you agree to such an agenda?
Sincerely,
