- from a mother

Today is World Bipolar Day. Today I spent 2 hours calming my son down through skype because people driving in downtown Owen Sound were screaming at him to go home.

When the radio station did it it was funny. But for people with mental health disorders who have people screaming at random scared solitary people on the street from their cars, while they are trying to get essentials for their homes, there's nothing funny about it.

It's dangerous, and crisis services is already under strain. There are people with anxiety/mood disorders, people with psychosis, people with schizophrenia, people with borderline personality disorder, people with PTSD and frail seniors and homeless folks who could really be harmed healthwise by this.

Thanks in advance if you can help get this message out to people.
