Surely that tells us something. I'm 76 years old, and this season as usual I'm going to plant, cultivate, and harvest a labour-intensive, two-acre market garden by myself. But I learned how to work many years ago as a boy living, and working, on a farm.
I would be only too happy to teach some seasonal, out-of-work, government-subsidized, university or high school student how it's done. I bet there's a lot of them would jump at such a chance. Just saying.
