What is a settlement worker and what happens when I call?
Settlement workers are individuals who guide newcomers through their personal settlement needs with resources and assistance relating to culture, education, recreation, finance, social services, and more.
A Settlement Worker will contact you to set up an appointment time. This person will take the time to learn about your unique situation and needs. After this, an action plan is created to work through all of your identified needs in a timely manner.
