It wasn't the usual evening of dresses, suits and speeches, but Hillcrest Elementary School made the best of it with a drive-thru graduation last night for their 120 graduates.
According to Principal Kevin Wilson, most of the students were able to attend to pick up their certificate, school letter and/or award. Jadyn Sylvest had the honours of being this year's Valedictorian.
"The grads missed out on a traditional ceremony in June due to COVID019, but we were happy to see so many of them tonight. We want to thank all of the graduates, and congratulate the award winners," says Wilson. "We also want to thank current and former Hillcrest staff for supporting these students during their time at Hillcrest."
We wish all of the graduates the best of luck at high school.
