The 2021 Bruce Peninsula Classic Car Run was a great success in spite of the rain.
Nothing could dampen the spirits of hundreds of enthusiastic classic car watchers at Sunday afternoon's Classic Car event of the Summer.
This series of annual classic car runs is designed as a fund raiser for the Grey Bruce Crime Stoppers program. The Peninsula Run on August 1st drew over 160 classic cars and garnered over $1,500 in donations.
Cars participating in this Show 'n Go event were from all across southern Ontario and started from locations at Owen Sound, Wiarton, Lion's Head, Sauble Beach and Saugeen Shores. The day ended with a gathering at the Wiarton Keppel International Airport where the sun was hiding from everyone all day.
This is the second of three Grey Bruce Crime Stoppers fund raising events. The next event will be the "Fall Colour Tour" scheduled for September 26th. For further details on this event keep watching the Sunset Cruisers Facebook page.
