The Georgian Bay Symphony wants to make Friday the 13th your Luck Day. This Friday the 13th the Symphony will make an Early Bird draw for $100 gift card as part of their ongoing 50/50 raffle fundraiser. With concerts and special events cancelled over the last year and a half the GBS moved their fundraising online with a monthly 50/50 Draw. Now in its four month the Symphony has given away more than $6,800.
Every ticket purchased before 5pm on Friday 13th will have a chance to win a $100 Canadian Tire Gift Card and be entered into the guaranteed $1000 Cash Jack Pot draw on 31 August. The fundraising campaign is under the banner of Help Keep the Music Playing.
The orchestra was successful in launching an online season to replace their cancelled live performances. “Going to a digital season was very rewarding but much more expensive than live productions” says David Adair GBS Manager. “With added expense and the loss of our regular fundraising events we decided to give the community a chance to support the symphony and win some money too”.
The Symphony wanted to bring some fun and excitement to its fundraising. “It is still early, but we are happy so far with what we have been able to do with the 50/50 raffle” Adair added. This month’s Early Bird Prize for a $100 Canadian Tire Gift Card will be drawn at 5pm on Friday the 13th with the guaranteed $1000 Cash Jack Pot draw on 31 August 11:59pm.
