As new Canadians settle in to our local communities, they want to bring their families to their new home.  It is the shared history of many Canadians from all over the world - maybe your family.

A local organization called The Bluewater New Canadian Sponsorship Group formed last fall to help sponsor Rajab Al Sheayer’s brother and family to come to Canada under the Refugee Sponsorship program.

You can help the Bluewater group - and yourself - this Saturday. They are having a Garage Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, Aug 21 , 8 to 12 pm. Location - 104 Carney Street.

They will be selling a variety of items from home furnishings, kitchenware, sports equipment, antiques etc.
