The Organizing Committee of the 29th Annual Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce Charity Golf Tournament are pleased to announce that they have donated another $23,000.00 to Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce. This represents the proceeds from the September 16th golf tournament held at Saugeen Golf Club. Thanks to the sponsors, participants and volunteers, the Annual Tournament has now raised in excess of $558,000.00 in support of this community program.

The Annual Tournament dates back to 1993 when Formosa Mutual Insurance and Formosa Springs Brewery teamed up to form a Tournament that would support the greater community at large. They decided that Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce would be the sole beneficiary and as they say, "the rest is history!"

Over the years the Tournament has grown in popularity by showcasing numerous local Sports Celebrities and Hall of Fame Hockey Legends. The Tourney's unique style differentiates it from the norm, making the Annual CSGB Tourney among the best!

Today the two founding Corporate Sponsors have undergone mergers and now carry on as the Trillium Mutual Insurance Co. and the Waterloo Brewing Company. Both companies remain committed to the cause and continue to organize and host the Annual Tournament, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce.
